Located at Orange Park High School, the Elite Wrestling Club is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization promoting the sport of Amateur Wrestling. As an official club of USA Wrestling, the Elite Wrestling Club is responsible for providing its athletes and members with training and competition opportunities both in the United States and Internationally.

Mission

The coaches at the Elite Wrestling Club are concerned with the development of each member of the Elite Wrestling Club. Each member will receive advanced instruction that will develop championship-level wrestling. The road to success in wrestling requires hard work and dedication. The Elite Wrestling Club is committed to creating a positive atmosphere that will result in individual success.

Philosophy

"Teaching Through Drilling"

At the Elite Wrestling Club the focus will be drilling high-level proper technique at a high-level pace.

The reason is simple...

During live wrestling an athlete may use a total of 3-4 moves successfully (to completion for his 2 points, etc.). Conversely, we believe that if an athlete drills hard and fast for 6 minutes, that athlete will do a minimum of 10 reps of six different moves. The long term effect of this is that the athlete will do more proper repetitions of skills than an opponent who only wrestles "live" primarily.

The elite wrestling club specializes in capturing individuality of every wrestler. Members will learn a punishing, physical style with heavy emphasis on our Patented "Short Offense."
